Does it hurt to have a manicurist take off ayrlic nails?

I am sick of having acrylic nails, and have already let them grow out and a couple of them have fallen off, but it looks kind of strange now becuase only some of them have come off. Should I just wait to have them all fall off by themself, or have the manicurist take them off? ( I am not good with pain whatsoever)Does it hurt to have a manicurist take off ayrlic nails?

well i would see how long they may take to fall of but on the other hand as long as you go to a good manicurist that knows what they are doing and you let them know up front you cant take pain verry well they will be alot more carfull but it shouldent hurt they should have a liqiud that can disolve them and make them easer to get off. good luck and hood it helped.
well, it doesnt hurt. u can remove them urself too. i did it before.





(1) wet d cotton wool with nail polish remover


(2) put it on ur nails


(3) let it absorb d nail polish remover

i would say definitely not get them taken off by a manicurist if you dont like pain because it hurts....try to take them off yourself...so you know your own pain, like soak your nails in acetone and then try to pull them off or cut them down

yes.... unless you trust them to do it slowly. Do it yourself. soak them in acitone nail remover and take them off carefully. Then you will need to give major tlc to your nails.
If the manicurist soaks them off with pure acetone it will not hurt. You can also save yourself the money by doing it yourself. Go to the hardware store and buy pure acetone. Place it in a bowl that you will not use again. Soak the fingers with nails still on it while watching TV. If they have been on for a long time and growing out they shouldn't take long to come off. Than use a fine grit buffer block to smooth your natural nail. Polish with OPI natural nail strengthener and keep the edges of your nails filed smooth so not to snag and tear because they will be weak.
It feels a little strange, but not painful.
you can do it yourself if you want. Just go buy some acetone based nail polish remover and let your nails set in it. It takes awhile, but if you keep touching them while they are soaking, they'll come off pretty fast. And it doesn't hurt. I have never had them take off my nails.
