Average labor price I ve seen from Michigan to Maine will vary from 2.50$ to 3.50$ a s/f . So if you say 3$ a s/f your looking at 1800$ give of take.

hardwood nailed or stapled down is around 3.00 SF so your looking at 1800.00 for installation. some installers like mine will give discounts to people that have floor prepped and ready when its time to install. Less for the installer and as busy as they are we appreciate the customer helping out.
provided that you'll consume all the materials and all you have to do is to pay for the labor then that would be an average labor price 2.00$ to 3.00$ per s/f .
